When the three-dimensional scanning module is used for mold manufacturing, the technicians scan the physical object with the reverse technique, and then use the specialized software, to directly generate the tool path and output it to the CNC processing center in order to manufacture the molds. When there is no original product technical data, such as physical drawings or CAD models, the engineers can use three-dimensional scanning technology to collect three-dimensional data of physical objects, convert them into tool paths, and directly manufacture molds. Another situation is that there is new demand for some old products which are not produced anymore. As the production has stopped for a long time, the original data is missing. The molds can only be manufactured by the sanning of the existing physical objects, data collection, and tool path conversion, thus realizing re-production.
